Flying the Flag

St Michael’s Church flies a flag from the top of the church tower - high above Mottram village and visible for miles around. The flag is flying continuously, but can be dedicated for special occasions such as church festivals, community events, and national commemorative days. You can see who or what the flag is flying for by looking through the flag diary below. Also, a monthly list is published in the Parish Magazine.

You can request a flag to be dedicated to your own special occasion such as a birthday, wedding anniversary, graduation, in memory of a loved one. We ask for a £15 donation, towards church funds.

If you would like the flag to be dedicated to yourself or someone you know, please contact Tony Kershaw:

Telephone:  01457 765350  or click here to contact Tony.

Your donation can be paid directly by cash or cheque to Tony, or you can pay on-line - click here for details.
